The objective of the Project Support for Low-Emission Development in South Eastern Europe (SLED) is to assist policy makers in Albania, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia to set up realistic, but also ambitious scenarios for the development of energy sector by 2030. As signatories of the Energy Community Treaty, these countries are obliged to adapt to the EU legislation in the field of energy. The process of harmonization with EU rules concerns the implementation of measures of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
This publication aims to provide the necessary information in achieving energy efficiency and climate adaptation in relation to the residential building sector in Serbia. In order to carry out these analyses at the sectorial level, the authors designed and applied the bottom-up approach in their modeling. This model is applicable until 2030. The model, together with all the basic data, is handed over to national policy makers and experts in order to use it and adapt it to their needs. The model is also available to other experts at their request.
