National typology of residential buildings in Serbia constructed since 2013 researches the basic architectural characteristics of these buildings, determines the existing levels of energy efficiency, and considers the possibilities for increasing their energy performance through energy refurbishment. Methodologically, this book relies on the results of the previous research and classification of the Serbian residential building stock, conducted by a group of researchers from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade in the period 2011-2013, and published in 2013 in the form of a set of three monographs entitled Residential Buildings in Serbia. Specific importance of this research lies in the fact that it is focused on the period of construction characterized by the start of implementation of new regulations in the field of energy efficiency in buildings. As previous research projects, this one was also conducted and published with the support of the Project Energy Efficiency in Buildings implemented by the German organization for international cooperation, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
