A workshop of the Energy Efficiency Knowledge Hub was held at the Faculty of Architecture on Thursday, May 9, 2019, entitled “Experiences in collecting and analyzing data, doing studies and analyses with the goal of supporting national institutions in creation and implementation of energy efficiency policies in public buildings”. This workshop was attended by representatives of GIZ, Energy Efficiency in Buildings project team, representatives of ministries of energy and civil engineering, Provincial Secretary of Vojvodina for Energy, as well as representatives of local governments who participated on the EmBuild project.

The participants of the workshop were presented the results of the Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings project, primarily the National Typology of Schools and Preschools, experiences and steps in extending this study with the typology of associated sports halls and analyzing the possibilities of using renewed energy sources in them, ways of selecting reference buildings and energy efficiency measures in the development of cost-optimization analysis of public buildings, as well as the results of the EmBuild project, strategies for the reconstruction of public buildings for municipalities of Vrbas, Lajkovac and Sopot.
