City of Šabac has been selected as one of the good examples of innovative use of public resources in the refurbishment of buildings. Besides refurbishment and modernization of its public buildings, city has co-financed refurbishment of more than 100.000 m2 of residential collective housing, and significantly induced interest in building refurbishment among citizens. This is why Šabac is selected as one of the good examples from Serbia to be presented at the final EmBuild conference. In preparation of the material for the conference, we met with the Mayor of Šabac and responsible public officers for the energy sector, and discussed future plans and projects.
